When do I have to renew my NISM certification?
In force
Before your current certificate expires, or within three years from the date of your registration certificate, depending on which applies to you. This wording was rewritten on 25 November 2025.
The duty covers you, your principal officer, anyone you employ as an analyst, persons associated with research services, and partners.
Treat it as a diary item. Letting a certification lapse puts you outside the qualification condition of your registration.
