Terms of use
Back to the compliance searchLast updated: 18 September 2026
These terms govern your use of RAsathi.in. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this site is
RAsathi is an independent reference tool that restates published regulatory material for Research Analysts in plain language, alongside the verbatim text and a link to the source document on the website of the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
It exists to help a reader find the right provision quickly. It does not replace the primary text, professional advice, or SEBI's own Informal Guidance Scheme for questions of interpretation.
Not legal or investment advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice, compliance advice, or investment advice. No advisory relationship of any kind is created by your use of it. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, and no returns of any kind are promised or implied.
If you need advice on your own situation, consult a qualified professional.
No affiliation with any regulator
This is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or connected in any way to the Securities and Exchange Board of India, to RAASB, to any stock exchange, or to any other regulator or statutory body. It is not an official publication of any of them.
Regulation numbers, clause references and quoted passages are reproduced from publicly available regulatory documents. The explanatory text around them is an independent paraphrase.
Accuracy and currency
The content is prepared carefully but is offered without any warranty that it is accurate, complete or current.
Securities regulation changes often. SEBI issues amendments, re-consolidates its master circulars and renumbers clauses, and a provision that was correct when written can be superseded without this site being updated. Where an item is a consultation paper or other proposal rather than a binding rule, the site marks it as a proposal, but you should confirm its status yourself before acting.
You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on against the current official text at sebi.gov.in.
Links to other sites
This site links to documents and pages on sebi.gov.in and occasionally elsewhere. Those destinations are outside our control. Linking to them is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

That includes without limitation any regulatory, financial, business or reputational loss, whether direct or indirect.

Intellectual property
The quoted regulatory text belongs to its original publisher and is reproduced here for reference.
