This policy explains what happens to information when you use RAsathi.in. It is written to be read, not to be waded through. The short version: this site is a static reference tool, it has no accounts and no forms, and it does not collect anything about you.

What this site does not collect

There is no sign-up, no login, no contact form, no newsletter and no payment on this site. There is nothing here that asks for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal detail, so none of it is collected.

The questions you type into the search box are processed entirely inside your own browser. The full set of answers is delivered with the page itself, and searching only filters what is already on your device. Your search terms are never transmitted to this site or to anyone else.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies of its own. It does not use local storage, session storage or any similar mechanism to keep data in your browser. The light and dark setting applies only to the page you are looking at and is forgotten as soon as you close the tab.

Server logs

Like effectively every website, the hosting server keeps standard access logs. A typical entry records the IP address of the request, the date and time, the page or file requested, the response status, and the browser's user-agent string.

These logs are generated automatically by the web server, are used only to keep the site running securely and to diagnose faults, and are retained by the hosting provider under its own routine schedule. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not combined with any other data, and are not sold or shared for marketing.

Advertising

This site does not currently display advertising.

If advertising is introduced later, it will be served by a third-party advertising network such as Google AdSense. Such networks commonly use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may use information about your visits to this and other sites to show you more relevant ones. That activity is governed by the advertising network's own policies, not by this one.

You can review and change how Google personalises advertising at adssettings.google.com, and you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. This section will be updated to name the provider before any advertising actually appears here.

Links to other websites

Every answer on this site links to the underlying document on the Securities and Exchange Board of India's website at sebi.gov.in, and a few answers link to other external pages. Those sites are run by other people and have their own privacy practices. This policy covers only RAsathi.in.

Analytics

No analytics or visitor-tracking service is used on this site. There is no Google Analytics tag, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking script embedded in these pages.

Children

This is a professional reference tool about securities regulation. It is not directed at children and it knowingly collects nothing from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Continued use of the site after that date means the revised policy applies.
