Do I have to display anything physically in my office?

In force

Yes. There is a prescribed notice you must display prominently in your office.

It is headed Dear Investor and carries your compliance officer's name, address, email and phone; the name, email and phone of the proprietor, partner or chief executive; the SCORES web address; and SEBI's toll-free helpline numbers.

You must also display your registered name, logo, registration number and full address on the notice board or display boards.

This is a physical-premises duty. A practice run from home will not have thought about it, and the requirement does not carve that case out.

One inconsistency to note. This clause still prints the old SCORES address, while the Investor Charter and the client terms use the current one at scores.sebi.gov.in.
